You can also easily see when patterns are forming, such as particular times of the week when you eat more than you should. If you do not believe that keeping a record of your food intake can help you, think about those who write down what they eat six out of seven days; they are able to lose two times as many pounds as people who do not write down anything. Let your journal serve as a daily reminder of the things you should do and where you want to be in the future.
